Arturo Ruiz

Hello BCA families!

I am Mr. Ruiz and this year I will be teaching 5th through 8th grade Math in Special Education.  I bring to this position my previous experience in Special Education from here at BCA as the Middle School Special Education Teacher in Math and then Reading in 2015-2016 and also from Monticello Academy and NEISD as an elementary Special Education Teacher.  I look forward to helping my students master math skills and understanding and also grow emotionally and socially.

At home, I am the father of 2 stellar girls (15 and 12) and married to the love of my life.  We travel out whenever we can whether to a river, lake, or just one of San Antonio's many accessible parks.  Also in our home, we have 2 dogs and a cat.  When not teaching I'm spending my time with family and friends or learning about how young and old can live a healthier, active life.
