Mr. James Mounts is our new Dean of Students. His office will also be handling the counseling and safety procedures at Bexar County Academy Charter School.  He will be posting important information to help guide your students as well as provide a safe environment for our BCA Community.  If you have any questions, please call the school front office to make an appointment to meet with Mr. Mounts. The vision of the ESC-20 Mental Health Collaborative is to collectively increase awareness amongst educators and school staff on mental health concerns and underlying trauma impacting our students and community.
 
 
The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to present a 56-minute webinar addressing possible ways to support young people during COVID-19. The webinar also outlined how to have conversations with children and adolescents about what is happening. View the webinar for more information.
