At Bexar County Academy Charter School, we intentionally create an environment that encourages an entrepreneurial spirit. This power is driven by the desire to transform the world and expand the capacity to imagine how to do so.
Bexar County Academy curriculum provides hands-on, engaging programs designed to bring leadership concepts into real-time for each scholar. Our instructional blended learning model of core curriculum with an emphasis on programs including, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), fosters a dynamic entrepreneurial mindset and developing leadership skills offered to middle school scholars through the partnership with P.A.M. Media Outreach.
Our mission is to provide an Academia environment that prepares students to function as Entrepreneurs, Workers, and Citizens in a Globalized World.
Our very own NFTE BCA Scholars will be advertising their business concepts to volunteer staff, community, and NFTE judges on May 27, 2022, from 10:00am to 11:30 am CST. Prizes will be awarded. See more for details.
Alamo Arts Academy Multi-Media Educational Curriculum (6th - 8th Grade): The Alamo Arts Academy is a year-round, multi-media, educational curriculum for 6th-8th grade scholars both online and in-person. The program provides career and college-readiness by giving scholars the opportunity to learn from professionals, challenge themselves academically and motivate their creativity through multi-media platforms including: Film Production, Audio Engineering, Graphic Design and Photography! Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship is an entrepreneurial educational program integrated within BCA's core curriculum, gives our scholars a real-world experience-based learning environment. The learning methods include creating practical experiences of teamwork, problem-based learning, hands-on project-based work and learning outside the classroom.
Bexar County Academy Charter School offers State-of-the-Art and creative curriculum programs. Students acquire the entrepreneurial mindset through innovation and self-reliance, equipping them to drive toward their best futures in the 21st Century.
The partnership facilitated by P.A.M. Media Outreach offers a leadership program to middle school youth at BCA (7th and 8th grades) designed to help guide the youth of 'Inner-City and Urban Communities" through experience that will empower them to become tomorrow's community leaders.
